I couldn't believe these were started at the same time as my soil grow. I am astounded. My soil plants were under a 65 w fluoro called fluorex . The soil got twice the amount of light, plus they were going outside every day. The hydro plants were too hard to move and stayed under the 30 w 24/7. To get them to grow, I had to switch to the 65 w lamp to supplement for continuous lights. They went outside too. Now they are growing amazingly well. I thought I had stunted their growth because they still are much shorter than the soil grow. I still vegging them till the soil grow finishes.
Question...
When you say 30W circular bulb... it's the flourescent, that's like a 8", or 10" or 12" diameter bulb? Hmmm... interesting.

My mothers, the cabinet has four 42Watt("200W") CFLs in there... but I've only got turned ON two of them... it was too much light. I believe. They seem to be doing fine.
