I just opened the mother cab, to take a look at the clones... to my surprise, they're looking superb!!!

I'm uploading two pics. They're looking so good, that I'm going to change them to 12/12 right now.

I wan't to know their sex now!

Well, as to the roots, common sense says that I should wait until they have rooted... but I read about this guy (don't know where) that, as soon as he cut his clones, he switched them over to 8/16... he said that although the clones won't be able to make anything productive with their lives, they'll be able to show your their flowers. Thus, enabling you to know their sex. This is for "cloning for sex" only, not for actual grows.

And I'm thinking, since the clones are doing so well, um, well, switch them over to 8/16... what do you think???

I don't think they have rooted yet, but I have no way of knowing. I sealed the small pot with the upper plastic "dome" with masking tape... to take a look at the roots, I'd have to un-do the entire thing...

looks great second time around :::note to self..no wax sprays for cloning::: jus waiting for the next shipment of cfls 2700k to replace the 5600k bulbs i got in the main grow chamber in order to finish making my clone/seedling chamber with the blue spectrum bulbs i realy wasnt going with cloning my first time around but you make everything seem so simple i cant help myself right now my crops on day 3 of 12/12 im doing it backwards to how your doing it im sexing them now then taking 2 to 4 clones per mother and keep a perpetual harvest in that way sex then clone ..hope it works out for me and looking great as usual keep up the good grow.. :thumbsup:

Yeah, I didn't use the waxy spray on the v2.0,::: be sure to use a "humidity" dome or something... or maybe don't use it... .what the hell, it's all about experimenting.
Yes dude, cloning from known female mothers, in my opinion, is the best idea. Too much time, energy and effort wasted the other way. But again, that's what the hobby is about... experimenting.
