Hello Turtle .................. again Is it growing upwards from behind the leaves or is it growing downwards from the stem

It's not a lttle pod on the end of a stalk is it ................ I just can't tell which way around it is.

Looking at the growth more closely, I think it's only a small pod of leaves... the kind that will expand soon and grow into leaves. What do you think?

Yeah dude! I sent you a friend invite... I haven't seen you online. I'm having problems with my ISP... it sucks! But dude, I went to a Halo2 turnament the other day... uff... it was all 2v2... so me and my friend went. WOW! We kicked ass!!! But, we got eliminated against some kids that play Halo2 online 26 hours out of every 24hour day... oh well...
But imagine if we kicked ass, that the 1st game, we won 44 against 8. EIGHT!!! We really owned those guys... Hehehe...

As to the MH bulb, yes, it should fit. Please read my reply to BkSkillz below, I write a little more about that there.

OH i was repotting within 2 days and wanted to know what was a good soil mix? did you do the 50/50 perlite/peat moss?

To be perfectly honest, I don't remember exactly what my mix was. Maybe it's in the 1st or 2nd pages of this thread. I think it was typical $1 bag soild, with some ProMix... ??? I'm not sure. But I placed about a 2 inch layer of lava rocks @ the bottom, then I poured the soil on top.

The glass tube, it's written Bake-A-Round... an eBay search for "Bake a Round" will provide them for you. As to the MH inside the tube, yeah, it'll fit. At least the one that I have. I've got a 400W MH from "Solar Max". It fits perfectly... the bulb should be something like 2" in diameter, and the tube is 4" in diameter.
As to the "mogul sockets", I have no idea what those are. I got my sockets from the light system I bought. I bought a dual-ballast, 600W HPS + 400W MH. Both ballasts are inside one, um, ballast. Two sockets and two plugs. So it isn't a conversion system, I can run both bulbs at the same time.
From that system, I got the sockets. I discarded the rear "metal bases" for the ceramic sockets, then used those inside the cool tube.

As to building you one, I must say that I really beleive you'd be better off building it your self. I'd be happy to do it, but being 100% honest, I don't think I'll deliver on-time. It's just me... I'm going to pussy-foot it around, until you send me an eMail threatening me with death, then I'll get around to do it.

Again, it isn't that I don't want to, but, I think you'll be an un-happy "customer". But dude, why don't you make it your self? I'll be more than happy to help you out with everything. More detailed instructions. More pictures. Ideas. Etc. I think it'd be best if you do it your self. All you need to order outside your living area would be the Bake-A-Round. All other things you can get at your local hardware store.

Once more, I'd be more than happy to help you build it yourself.

Hello Buk,

For my cool tube, I have a 50 CFM fart fan. It has a 2" or 2.5" outlet, then I step it up to the 4" dryer hose. Inside the cool tube, I have only one 400W MH bulb. I still haven't installed the 600W HPS. The 'run' from the fart fan to the inlet of the cool tube is very short (less than 12"). The longer your 'run', the more restriction/friction the air has... so try and get your fan as close as possible.

Of course, those restrictions/friction losses are less important if you've got a Dayton or some similar type of fan.

Something tells me I'll have to upgrade the fan when I install both bulbs. I haven't recorded temperatures (inlet/outlet) of the cool tube, but the outgoing air is warm, not 'hot'. I think that the 50CFMs won't be enough when both 400W MH and 600W HPS are in there... we'll see.

BTW: I did send you a friend invite, but I don't have you on my list. I'll re-send it. Dude, I'm sorry I don't post my gamertag, but I'm semi-paranoid with posting it here. I mean, the math would go like this:

They look a little tired because work was extensive today... and I just watered them. I re-tightened the LST a little bit... and everything is looking fine and dandy.

Ok, There are three things you must think about doing in the future... #1 being a transplant, A.S.A.P. (More space = More roots = More effecient nutrient uptake = more plant growth) the second item is rather a question. What is your current nutrient plan? (Brands, N-P-K's, Feeding schedule) and #3 if they are not already in flowering (12/12) you should think about switching cycles in a few days.
