Who here HATES their dad?

Any of you guys talking about respect ever hear the saying 'Respect is earned, not given'? I bet none of you have a father that walked out on you and your mom when you were 2 'cause he was a raging alcoholic, randomly show up in your life 10 years later only to continue using and drinking (he offered me heroin when I was 13), and putting my family, namely my mom, through hell.

Sorry, it's a touchy subject for me.

I dont hate anybody...except my dad.

He is very deserving of such a strong emotion. I have always been envious of those fortunate people who have loving parents, and then irate when I find out their kids hate them for usually a rediculous reason like they impose structure and have rules.
Please make sure the emotion of hatred towards your parents or a parent is something that is the last emotion you have left for them. You cant sometimes love and sometimes hate your parents. Hate is a strong emotion, and only those deserving of hate should recieve such a strong emotion. Please be sure your parents deserve to be hated before you hate, because hate not only eats at them, it eats at you, even when its deserving and even when thats the only emotion you have left towards a person.

If you could imagine the effect it would have on you to be hated (not just hate as a word but HATE) by your parent(s) or other loved ones and its an undeserving emotion placed upon you, imagine what kind of impact that could have on your well-being. Just please make sure the people you hate deserve HATE. IMO, if I only hate 1 person in my life, which I do, its one too many.

i was told at 2 yrs of age my dad was dead after he left then ten yrs,yes 10 yrs later we go to sac bus term and pick him up,the drinking started again cops were called,he stayed one week i never seen him to this day............and i think about him all the time wether it be good or bad,he is and was my dad as now i really dont know if he is alive or dead
