All the little buckets have floating valves in them, like a toilet. When the water level drops the valve opens and it gets filled with solution from your large reservoir. Once it reaches the proper level it closes, keeping your buckets full.

Deep Water Culture... it seems like everybody is using this type of system... can somebody tell me a quick explanation of an easy setup... like what pumps it uses and what not. I guess I'm also interested in those setups that have like 50 little buckets and what not... and a main resevoir... how does that work? This may seem like a ridiculous question... but... how does the pump not over flow the smaller resevoirs? Is there an overflow pipe or somethin? If any of this doesn't make sense... Rating: 5
