Sounds like initially you didn't have enough light for the germinating seedling and it stretched. Now it is leaning to the side because the elongated stem cannot support the weight. Brace it up with a small wooden stake and a twist tie.

Seems like another thing to remember is stress. I don't care much for it myself but sometimes it's a good thing.... Like the stress in the stalk caused by a GENTLE breeze from your fan. Yep, makes your plant release a hormone that helps in strengthing your plant's stems so they grow up big and stong! Ain't that cool... Plus the fan keeps all that fresh air and CO2 (?) moving around. Now don't get me wrong, it WAS the (lack of) light more than anything but, next time, this will probably help too..........

Yeah this is very true. Next time you want to have your light a lot closer so the plant won't stretch so far for it and have air blowing on it so it will stay short and strong as a seedling.

u might have planted your seeds too close to the surface, not giving them enough support, try adding some soil (if thats wat ur using) around the base of the stem to give more support. the prob with suporting ur plants with canes etc is that you will always have fairly flimsy stems, best not to do this.
