should i tell my parents?

i say have a sit-down with them. but then again, some parents react differently. my mom knew i had been smoking, but just finally started calling me out on it. and lately, i've been telling her things that i always tried to hide. but then again, i didnt open up to her until she found my court order in the mail. but from experience, i'd say its better you tell them in an open conversation than because they found out you have to go to court.

it's gonna go down in person, only to my dad. i came close to telling my mom over the net when i was arguing with her over pot and alcohol (of the two, which would you prefer me doing? "i'd rather you drank because weed's illegal" they're both illegal for me! "well weed is more legal than alcohol) but i could tell from how the argument was going that if i told her she would totally flip so i'm gonna go with my dad

I have a feeling this may have already been mentioned and/or considered.. but tell him when he's high, if you are afraid he's going to flip out sober.

Another way to tell him would just to break all the tension and formality (hopefully) and just be like, "Dad, I want to smoke marijuana with you. Are you okay with that?" He may surprise you and say yes.

he doesn't smoke in our house. he blazes at my best friend's house (our dads have been best friends since before we were even born) and i don't know when he's high. it's hard to tell with him unless he smells like it (which is rare)

keep your mouth shut until they say something. If they ask you about it... only tell the truth.. but if they don't say anything then you're probably fine.
