Was thinking about loss of short term memory with weed

I have it bad. Today was worse cause I hadn't slept in a day. It was rough to hold a conversation with someone because I kept having to stop and remember what I was just talking about. I actually had to ask them a couple times. I didn't just blank out or anything mid-sentence. It'd be like.

Me: So I was sitting in the library drinking a Starbucks...
Roommate: Oh that reminds me, did you forget to make coffee this morning or something? (I had put the filter and grinds in and then forgot about it)
Me: Huh? Ohhh haha yea. Anyways... *pause* umm.. what was I saying?

Yea, this happened about 28 seperate times today.

Was thinking about loss of short term memory with weed The past few days, i have been thinking to myself that, you know weed gives you a kinda loss of short term memory? Well for the past few days i have thought about that it only seems to be the unimportant and trivial things i forget, things i don't really need to know. Maybe weed makes you forget the unimportant things and stuff you don't want/need to know, keeps your mind clear and lets you store more important information easier. Weed doesn't do much to my memory, other than making me blank out alot when I'm high.

I feel like when when I'm high then i can remember things from when I was high and the more often I get high the more my mind gets used to being high and so it just adapts to it and I become just as proficient at things when i'm high as when im sober

Actually most of my memories start out as... "UGH YOU REMEMBER THAT ONE TIME WHEN WE WAS HIGH?" or "YOU REMEMBER THAT TIME WE WAS OUT LOOKING FOR GRASS?" ect, ect.

its a proven fact that marijuana only destroys the weak braincells, like you said, trivial information, 'forgotten' memories (hows that for an oxymoron?), unused memory cells ...etc
