does anyone here know anybody that has gone through Chemotherapy and got rid of the original problem and are now leading perfectly normal lives again?
My Sister, last friday, was diagnosed with Lymphoma. She has cancers in her lungs and all the way up her throat...and she has to go through Chemotherapy, she was originally going to have radiotherapy but the cancers were worse than first anticipated....so i read up on Lymphoma and Chemotherapy but could not find out any infomation wether it is possible for the person to get completly well again....
i was just wondering if there was any chance she would get back to the health she had before the cancers?Az. I'm sorry, I don't think so. But being no M.D., I can only give you what I can find.
lymphoma- A usually malignant lymphoid neoplasm.
malignant- Growing worse; resisting treastment, said of cancerous growths. Tending or threatening to produce death; harmful.

Sometimes Chemotherapy works and sometimes it doesnt. Unfortunately i know someone who did go through the process, but it didnt completly destroy the cancer.
But then again im sure there are thousands of people who are cured through this process.
