A Higher Understanding
During my last smoke session I think I had a higher understanding of how things work.
I thought to myself..Why do scents register similar in the minds of most people? Why do sights register similar in the minds of most people.? The same thing with sounds and sensation.
Because Nature and Creation is the entirity of our knowledge. It is the most powerful one thing in this world. It effects the most people..therefore I am starting to Understand that Nature and Creation are the only Higher Power to any government, authority, or persons.
Wow. Does that sound familiar to any kind of religion?STDzRus Reviewed by STDzRus on . A Higher Understanding During my last smoke session I think I had a higher understanding of how things work. although sights may register similar in most peoples minds, people rarely see things the same.

It sounds like an 'earthly' religion, I'm not sure exactly.
And, unfortunately, though Nature can whip our ass, we're killing it and cutting it down, and poisoning our atmosphere.

How can you be sure that scents and sights are the same for everybody? Maybe the color we call "green" looks totally different in your head than it does in mine. Maybe you see green things as a color that I would call red, and you see red things as the color I would call green.

Well, it would explain why people prefer different foods, and why some people don't like the taste of weed.

I'm talking about people in general.
Most of us can see green as green and red as red.
Most of us know what sour milk and baking cookies smells like.
Most of us know what an owl sounds like and what a whore screaming and orgasming sound like.
Not necessarily "know" but relate it to the same characteristics.

That was my first deep thought I remember having. I was like 9 or 10 and I asked my friend if she ever wondered if colors and sounds are seen or heard differently. Like, I see something as green so I say "thats green." But someone else might see red, and hear me say "thats red" instead of "thats green", so they say "yeah, thats red" but I hear "yeah, thats green" and then we both are in agreement of the color, even though its different to both of us. She didnt really understand what I was talking about.

A better way to explain it is this:
You and I both see a color and call it green, but maybe I actually see red (i.e., what YOU would think of as red) and CALL it green, because I've always seen colors in reverse. There is no way to know whether we see colors the same, since we've been taught their names from birth.
Same goes for left and right or up and down:
Maybe I have always seen a reverse/mirror image of the world, totally backwards from the way you see it, but I still use the same directional words to describe it because I learned to use them from birth.
To get back to the topic, the "religion" that sounds most similar to is a kind of "nature mysticism."
For thousands of years, there have always been a number of people who realize that all we know about reality is just what's right in front of our eyes... and who could ask for more than the infinite gifts of the earth?
Instead of recognizing the authority of any particular religion which talks about things that can't be proven, these people find holiness in the here and now, in what is real and absolute right in front of our eyes, and learn to live in harmony with the natural rhythms of life.
It's also really similar to Taoism.
