A better way to explain it is this:
You and I both see a color and call it green, but maybe I actually see red (i.e., what YOU would think of as red) and CALL it green, because I've always seen colors in reverse. There is no way to know whether we see colors the same, since we've been taught their names from birth.

Same goes for left and right or up and down:
Maybe I have always seen a reverse/mirror image of the world, totally backwards from the way you see it, but I still use the same directional words to describe it because I learned to use them from birth.

To get back to the topic, the "religion" that sounds most similar to is a kind of "nature mysticism."
For thousands of years, there have always been a number of people who realize that all we know about reality is just what's right in front of our eyes... and who could ask for more than the infinite gifts of the earth?
Instead of recognizing the authority of any particular religion which talks about things that can't be proven, these people find holiness in the here and now, in what is real and absolute right in front of our eyes, and learn to live in harmony with the natural rhythms of life.
It's also really similar to Taoism.
