flowering with MH 400 watt

Good find marc, no comaprison. What i do is use the MH for veg and HPS for flower,Workslike a dream.

if u had 2 what would u choose 4 the whole grow, hps or mh?
just askin cause i was tryin 2 circumvent the flouros altoghether an just use the one light 4 the whole grow.
any ideas???

undercovergrower Reviewed by undercovergrower on 10-12-2005. flowering with MH 400 watt I am having a problem getting my HPS 400 watt bulb to fire so I am going to use my MH 400 watt bulb to flower. Will this work or am I just wasting my time. Also I know both bulbs I have work but the HPS wont turn on, yet the MH will. Is this a problem with the ballast or what?
