Are you saying,that at any given time,that there's never more than 12 hours of daylight in the tropics ? There should be more daylight hours in the tropics-not less..during the summer,here in Texas,the sun rises at 6 am or so and doesn't set until dang near 9:30 pm..that's 15 1/2 hours of daylight. Please correct me if I'm wrong,also..there's an article under advanced techniques forum,that you may be interesed in,that deals with photo-periods in regards to growing marijuana. I believe that the article points out that it may be more beneficial to increase the standard photo-period for flowering,in the case of tropical-zone sativa strains.
