    Premature 12-12? Gimme your thoughts...

Okay, for an experiment, after 2 weeks of vegging I have a 5 inch plant thing. Could I try putting it on 12-12 tomorrow? If so will it produce any bud? If so how much of a yield would I get off it?
    Thanks dudes...

what are the oldest set of nodes like?
Are they alternating or are they directly across from each other.

if you have al least one set of alterneating nodes.. it is perfctoly fine to 12/12...

    Haggiz,

I thnk the guys are noticing you have not read too much on your own about growing if you don't know what nodes are.

I prob shouldn't enable/encourage you but nodes are the locations where branches (leaves) come off the trunk of the plant.

The first 5 or maybe it's first 7 pairs of leaves come out right opposite each other. Then the plant switches into "alternating nodes". That's when the leaves (to become branches) begin to come out on one side only per node. The other side (node) comes out, again on one side only, after the stalk grows another half inch to an inch.

Goes like that - right, left, front, back for the rest of plants life.
