Help Growing. Indoors. Experience Needed!

Ok, im about to start growing 1 plant indoors at my house.
Please can someone tell me what i would kneed in easy words to help my plant grow. I can have a light or some sort or what ever.
I need some experienced person to tell me, a list of what i should kneed and do. Please....

Hmmm... its hard to put it in simple terms. I can help you get started, b ut you really are going to have to learn ALOT to get a nice h eathy plant that was worth your time. your gonna need:
*New unfertilized soil with no added nutrients (fertilizer will hurt the plant when it is a young age)
*Your going to need atleast 4 complact flouresent light bulbs, or long shop flouresent lights for vegitative growth, and possibly more of those lights will be needed for flowering stage. Or you can use a HPS light, but those are expencive (and if your only a beginner...)
* A place to grow. you are going to need some space. Unless you train this plant to stay low, it is going to get quite big, given the proper light.
*A light timer. Your going to need to keep your light on a schedual. The plant needs 18 hours of daylight, and 6 hours of night time. That means lights go on for 18 and hard off for 6. Its hard to do this without a timer. A time will automaticly turn the lights on and off as schedualed.
*Make sure the area around the plant is covered in tin foil or something to reflect light, because this plant is going to need as much light as it possibly can get.

I realize its almost impossible for me to explain it easily. This is hard stuff. You should ask some more specific questions so we can help easyer. There is such a wide range of mterial to know about growing. But basicly, you need lots of light, a schedual for the light, it need to be watered every day (twice would be good, don't over water). There are tricks you can do to make the plant bigger, more branches, taller or shorter... you can even flavour your weed. Just keep poping questions. I hope I helped a little.

Since i posted i have read alot about it.
Ok, why would i need 4 lights if i only got 1 plant?
And i was hoping just to build like a box, cover it in tin foil, get my light, make sure it on the right times, and keep it 2 inc above the plant at all times. I could possible use a whole closet for it...

Do i have to have air vents and all that shit?

And i need to know more about budding time. Like changing light settings and all that.

thats really good advice. im going to start growing myself and i am doing my research now. i never heard of a light timer before. i thought that was a really good idea. i think i may buy one if they are not too expensive.
