    Velvet Revolver Plageurism

    I was listening to music the other day, and right after i listened to Pantera's "The Art Of Shredding", I had the sudden urge to listen to Velvet Revolver's "Big Machine". I soon figured out why...the openings to the 2 songs are pretty much identical. Pantera's was made around '91, VR's in 2000 something, so looks like we have some plageurism going on here

    i cut out the 2 beginnings, so you can have a listen for yourself for all you skeptics

    umm, they dont sound at all the same...they have the same, generic bass beat?

    The bass line sounds the same, yeah, but it's not exactly the most original bass line or beat ever. I don't think that they'd need to have plagiarised it.
