magic sphere (i guess it makes a waterbong)

so.. how does this thing work? it looks like this:

it's a bottle with the magic sphere screwed on top, the 2 s's stand for straws. i can't figure out how u don't end up with all that water in your mouth. The line in the middle of the bottle is the water line.
