Yes,,many simple chemical and biological materials will produce Co2.But,,,it what amount given a "practical" amount of reactant.You do not want a 55 gallon drum of wort(reactive yeast/grain/sugar mix) stinking up the place.It might very well cover up the smell of growing MJ.Acid /base reactions like vinegar and bicarb. of Soda are short lived and dont produce much gas.You know plants produce C02 on their own during the dark phase.Just not enough to do anything when the lights come on.The only 100% method I know of is to crack the valve on a tank of compressed gas.Besides, after 30 yrs of growing I not sure its worth the effort.-SMOKEJAGUAR
