Free reign!? i ask this time and time again, how would there be terrorism if the u.s. and britain werent exploiting the middle east? Get a clue, man. The crime rate in New York is now the LOWEST of any of the large American cities. This is partially due to the Roe vs. Wade legalization of Abortion in the early 1970ā??s, which reduced the amount of unwanted children that would turn to crime. The departure of Mayor Dinkins and his administration, in 1993, ushered in the better-run admin. of Rudolph Giuliani - and the extra security forces, since 9/11, have also reduced crime.

Okay, you got me. i was being just a little sensational. but dont you agree that there are more productive things for the police to do than hang around and bother people rushing to get on with their lives? i dont know...say handling murders and assaults and child abuse? I don't know too many 19-year old caucasian women born in brooklyn that support and carry out bombings for al-queda.

For the people out there that are wondering about the REAL situation in NYC: there are no jackbooted Nazi-thug cops running wild. We have some serious security, but Iā??ve seen the same things in Europe in recent years ā?? even more so. Military cops with Uzis in the airport in Holland? Yup, but I donā??t remember hearing anything on here about that - or Heathrow, and many other places. The dangers that had to be dealt with in the airports are now relevent in the other systems of transportation - here, and elsewhere.

its always in incriments. not even the current administration is crazy enough to just order soldiers and guards to take over...thered be too much loss of life and money on either side.

the trick is to allow it to grow...bit by bit... and then as we all get used to seeing cops with uzis in the parks and get more comfortable with them handling crime, then the idea will be to take us with minimal resistance.
