It's not totally impossible. I've seen numerous amounts of different phenotypes with alternating nodes very similar to this one.
It's possible to be either... but which is it? 17 days from seed germination? or 17 days from propigating the clone?
I'll believe Garden Knowm either way...frankly it makes no difference what it is. it's a nice plant.
