People like to talk about how they would go 1000 years into the future if they had a time machine. Not me. I would go way back. There are too many historic events I would love to have witnessed.

Well I'd definately want to go back and have a good conversation with the buddha, and a toke if possible.

but, our only viable theory in regards to time travel is the workings of Einstein's theory of relativity. If we had good enough technology for tavel and velocity and understand relativity, it would be possible to move forward in time, but not backward. that being because we could alter the flow of time for a controlled area (with somebody in it), so we could make 10 minutes for us 1000 years for the rest of the universe, but once a time has passed it ceases to exist.

If we could go back in time, i'd go to Jesus' era and see if he was real, thus proving whether or not he existed
