Downtown Jacksonville is beautiful - I've seen pictures. From what I've heard, though, I wouldn't want to live there. This is how I see it, Haze. I know too many people who've jumped into commitments very early and lived to regret it. And it's weird how you can be best friends with someone, and feel like you're in love with them, then get together and realize things aren't how you'd imagined. I'm too familiar with that story. There is, however, no way of knowing whether this actually *is* the right guy for you, though. You never know. Sometimes you just need to take a chance rather than spending your whole life wondering "what if"? Advice is always a good way to gather opinions, but the decision should be based on how you feel. Personally I wouldn't do it seeing as you've only known him for so long. I've had my heart broken in thirteen pieces, and am very cautious of commitment. Of course, it sounds like there's a chance nothing will happen between you two - it could just be a chance to get a change of scenery and pace. Do what you feel is best.
