Thanks lol, news to me.I think those "non-lethal" rounds like rubber bullets are fired from a shotgun. The only problem is that they're still quite lethal when you're hit in a vital area. Also, they're also very innacurate, so using one at the firing range wouldn't be very fun unless you're shooting watermelons three feet away. If you just want something to take to the range, get a .22. They're cheap as hell when it comes to ammo and you have a better chance of killing someone with a beanbag or rubber bullet than with a 22 round.

dont worry, i DONT want him to shoot anyone, least of all an innocent 10 year old, but if people carry on like that, it IS only a matter of time before an accident occurs, and the look on his face would likely reflect the anguish that he would rightly experiance.

yep, but don't get me wrong, a 22 round is still a bullet and still has the potential to kill. I know a lot of people that take 22s to the range to shoot simply because you can buy hundreds of rounds for practically nothing. Once you've spent a day at the firing range, you'll want to do it all the time.

the japanese carried swords for a long, long time, and their's was one of the most structured and polite society ever. they carried weapons, but rules dictated it was the last resort, and the whole social structure was designed to keep every option open. using deadly force was something no one wanted to do, and would only use it as a LAST RESORT.
unless they were a braggart or blow-hard.
we have plenty of those here in the states.
can't teach common sense to dummies.
still... i love putting holes in paper.

So yeh i am British and it's an air rifle, and pistol i use for shooting (says it kills up to 300yards, rifle manual), i have a good backstop so all you anti-gun people stop complaining, and I also won't shoot a 10 year old kid
Pictured below are the guns i use

the whole thing is, 3sheets, that i believe that you dont WANT to harm anyone, but guns are designed for one thing, dosnt matter if u use them for sport or entertainment, u dont respect them, then it will still be your fault when something goes wrong.
Sensible people can fuck with guns? a sensible person would tell u where to stuff that statement, loaded or not.
If u arnt going to be safe, u ARE going to be sorry.
You think im being heavy handed? Dont you think its worth a little heavy handedness, so that the number of stupid accidents can be reduced? I think so.

The truth of the matter is that even professional soldiers don't "fuck with guns", loaded or unloaded. A sensible person who fucks with a gun is, by definition, not a sensible person.
With that attitude you shouldn't be anywhere near a gun.
Edit: Excellent post, misty.
