Hey all ...........here's my story on it.....IT'S ALL ABOUT OIL!!!
The oil companies didn't want cannabis to be #1 resource for oil so they created a big government scare!!...The government leader "Rochefeller" also just so happened to own large shares of the oil companies, so the rich oil companies rallied against in favor of their petroleum and kerosene.

I did a 10 page college thesis on "The Benifits of Marijuana" about 15 years ago, and here's a little of what I found out; Until early1800, hemp seed oil was most consumed lighting oil in the world. After that second only with whale oil. At the 1850 census, cannabis was grown on 8,327 plantations, and was the 3rd crop in Americe. Then in 1859, it was replaced by petroleum and kerosene. Rockefellers was president then and he got this bill going called "Rockefeller's National Petroleum Pennylvania oil discovery" "Oil"...You make tires and all kinds of stuff with oil and the oil industry stood to loose billions of dollars........

Also just for the record.. Is is a fact that cannabis is 10 times stronger then cotton. Cannabis is a very renewable resource and is the number one biomass producer in the world. It's good for the environment and has many icredible ways to use; You could heat your house with it. make tires and other rubber stuff, make plastics, all kinds of shit...diapers, nakins,paper plates, tp, etc.

Enough of my rambling, but you'll get a kick out of this; when I gave my report to the class, I was the only one that got a standing ovasion!

Make proscription drugs illegal!!! are you ****ing insane? i dont know anything about leading causes of death but how about the number of LIVES SAVED and the number of people with dreadful afflictions whose lives are made liveable only by the grace of modern medicine.

Next time you take a paracetamol or whatever, think about how silly you sounded, and stop sounding off just cos youve got to be a little discrete with your joints....

Prescription drugs don't cure disease. They only mask symptoms. Actual "cures" for disease exist, but involve more than just taking a drug.

Of course I was not completely serious when I said prescription drugs should be made illegal. But perhaps we'd be better off that way, than handing out a prescription to anyone who visits a doctor with mild symptoms of something that could be better treated by changing their lifestyle habits (less processed food, better choice of diet, more exercise, etc...)

Maybe when you grow up a bit, and learn how to think for yourself, you will realize that you are a tool. Drug companies don't want to make people better, if they did, how would they make more money? They won't make a dime by telling you to stop drinking ten cans of mountain dew a day. But they will make money selling you diabetes medicine.

I am convinced cold medicine has flu and cold virus in it to make you sicker, I stopped using those flu and cold medicines years ago and very rarely am I ever sick. Yeah there are very few drugs that actually cure disease besides anti-biotic's most do just treat symptoms, the drug companies have no interest in curing the disease thats why its foolish to give your money away to ""telethon's" seeking a cure for major disease, it goes against the major drug companies bottom line, it'll never happen.

That is the exception more than it is the rule. I suggest reading Kevin Trudeau's Natural Cures book, as well as Death By Prescription.

Diabetes is a very recent epidemic. Only a few decades ago, we didn't have anywhere near as many cases of diabetes, cancer, and other ailments. Of course, we didn't have fast food and prescription drugs being advertised so heavily either.

I'm not 100% sure why MJ was made illegal, but I know that the 30's government made a propaganda film known as "reefer madness." If you have seen the film, they claim that MJ leads to insanity, wild sex orgies, among other b.s. shit. So I am guessing, as someone said, they think it leads to physcosis and mental illness.
