Hi folks Im new to this place and I think its pretty cool. I've been through 10 different tests for DOT and was caught once but I wanted to remind you all as I look through some of the threads here and I see...."Tons of water" mentioned a lot and its a good thing but ya gotta remember if its too diluted most places will reject it on the spot. I dunno if everyone has a grasp of that as good as they should. Its gotta have a little bit of color to it or all the prep you've done for it will be lost. I dont have all the answers but dont give em a clear sample.

I agree. But what is a good amount to drink? Its soooooo incredibly hard to get straight answers. Some say drink tons of water...some say it needs some color...some say if it has color, youve failed. Some say drinks dont do a thing, some swear by them. on and on and on. WTF!?

diluted is diluted. whether its with soda or water or juice or w/e.

I too, am under constant random testing for DOT. Buy a Urinenator, you'll sleep alot better.I've used it at least 20 times successfully.

Dilution works, but you need to take some vitamins. The "B" vitamins in a multivitamin tablet will give your urine a yellow color. They will be less likely to suspect dilution if your urine is yellow. One pill should be enough, you don't want "day-glo yellow" urine!

Does anyone know about "Specimen Validity Strips"? These are test strips that can be purchased from www.craigmedical.com. These strips are dipped into the urine sample and will tell you if the urine is too dilute. It tests the specific gravity and creatnin. Why not buy these strips for piece of mind so you know that you aren't too dilute. I would follow N2s dilution method, which can be found on www.marijuana.com then I would drug test myself to make sure I was negative, then do spec. strips to ensure that you did it all correctly. These strips are $35 and have 25 to a box. Just thought I would tell you guys. This way you don;t have to stress all week wondering if you will get that dreaded call from the lab to retest. If your under probation they will stare when you take the test, as far as the dot they just stand outside the door, I cant ever remember them standing over you, and if they did (usually a woman) id ask her out on a date.
