once again...a question.
Im starting a brand new grow and I want to keep this plant small but bushy. I have seen many people say to keep the light like 2 inches from the plant....I had a 75w light but that seems too hot to keep 2 inches from the plant so I went and bought a 50w of the same kind of light, its not as hot but its still pretty warm. If I keep a fan right on it will it keeping from burning? Or if someone could tell me exactly what kind of light to get it would help. thanks and Sorry I cant get pics...no camera

once again...a question.
you should be abloe to put a fan right inbetween the bulb and the plants.. the steady air flow will allow you to put a 1000 watt bulb a couple inches from your plant. Ifthe plant burns it is because your airflow is not correct... but don't let your plant touch your light. If you ar using CFLs you can keep the bulb with 1/2 inch no problem with a slight gust of air..
good luck

You may want to think about just using a cord and socket so you can hang the lights at different levels to provide light for the whole plant and not just the top.
