All you guys remember that ingesting THC is a lot different than smoking it.

I for one cannot stand it. I have done it with meatballs, salads and baked brownies and chicken and WILL NEVER, NEVER NVER NVER do it again.

It induces my panic attacks and the fucking buzz it way to heady for me and lasts 2 days if you over do it.

Last time I did it, I hungto the wife fora day and a half for fear i was gonna die.

Smoking does that to some people, so what's your point? ingesting THC is not that much different from smoking it. The results are just more drawn out sometimes taking up to two hours to take effect. It all comes down to the physics of your body

Interesting... I read a FAQ yesterday for making THC pills... Using the gelcaps that are typically available. You would boil your THC mixture (hash, keef, etc.) and after a process, you'd end up with a powder, which you would then proceed to put into the gelcaps.... Whenever you wanted to get high, you pop one of the gelcaps into your mouth and swallow it.... It's an interesting idea.

Why bother, why not just fill a gel-cap with little bits of hash? thats the form it comes in when you make brownies isnt it? you crush up some hash into the cake mix? i reckon that would get you high.

As for the portable supply of THC vapour, hmmm....i dont know much about vapourisers but i would assume, that the THC vapour would not remain a gas in the lighter, the vapour comes off at some hot temperature, and it would cool quickly while you were trying to get it into the lighter. If you were lucky and managed to get it in, it would cool inside the lighter and condense to whatever state, especially if it is pressurised.

hmmm... just thinking about a portable vapouriser... bear with me since im not even sure how a proper vapouriser works...

how about some kind of device, imagine a thin metal cylender, the size+shape of a cigarette, unscrews into 3 sections, in the middle section you put some bud, the end section is some kind of element which you would heat with a lighter [hot enough??? maybe one of those storm-lighters...] and the other end that you put in your mouth contains thin passages to cool the vapour so it dosnt burn your lungs. heat the element, take a toke, the hot air vapes the THC, cools in the other end and you inhale! Bingo! portable vapouriser!!! It could even be made to look like a normal cigarette!

Let me know if anyone makes any money from this....

That is not how brownies are made. The hash/pot used for cooking needs to be cooked before hand to get the THC out.. if you remember thc is not water soluble. which means just pouring it into your cake mix isn't going to do squat.

You can cook brownies however you want to. Maybe you dont do it like that, but you cant say :"THAT IS NOT HOW BROWNIES ARE MADE."

I can make brownies how ever I want.

And if you put bare naked fresh weed in the mix and bake it, you will get fucked up. In gelcaps or not.

And my point in my earlier post you questioned was that eating herb can get you fucked up in ways far different than just smoking it.

You can't tell me that putting raw pot/hash in whatever it is you're baking is the ideal method for cooking with cannabis. Because it's not and you know that. or do you?

But you are trying to say that there is a 'proper' method for cooking with it.

To me that is like telling someone how to interpret a painting.

I will tell you that I have eaten the stuff raw, cooked, baked, stuffed, ground up and I will never do it again because each and every single time I have done so I have regretted it because the buzz was too intense and fucked me up......

If you ingest it, you are going to absorb the THC present. Cannabutter or raw weed....your body is going to absorb the THC.....

I get a different buzz smoking a joint versus using my vaporizor. Each has its own unique buzz....but that doesnt make one way "PROPER" and the other way "IMPROPER" to smoke herb....

So dont tell misty that shoving it in gel caps is improper use. It isnt "IMPROPER" anymore than those THC vials your uncle gets.

Its simply another delivery method...not IMPROPER use.

It seems like a really good idea, but I'm not 100% convinced it would actully work. At the same time your taking your hit, your also hit the fumes/remanders of the butain.
