so what is this thing you're knocking together, some form of dopekit? I had one a while back, called my 'heat kit'...all the shit in it was enough to send me to jail. My best chance of getting away from the cops with it was to throw it directly at the cop and hope it knocked him out...but it was too small to be a good surface.
