DAMIANA - Damiana herb (Turnera diffusa) consists of the dried leaves of a bush which grows in the tropical areas of America. Aztecs used it as a remedy against impotence, the Maya's used it for pleasure and it was drunk as a healing tea by Indians throughout South-America. Thus it is a herb with many qualities. The psychoactive effect is compared with the 'high' of cannabis.
Damiana is also a sexual stimulant, it stimulates the blood circulation and the metabolism. It contains elements that directly stimulate the nerves and genitals.
OR
LACTUCA VIROSA (Wild OPIUM Lettuce) Powdered Extract
Mild Narcotic and analgesic. Sedative which induces low alphoid activity rather than deep sleep. Most dream states occur in REM (rapid eye movement) sleep, a state which is characterised by low alphoid activity. Usually prepared as a drink or used in capsules. This highly potent powder is very similar to the effects of marijuana and acts as a good substitute.
ANOTHER
SCELETIUM TORTUOSUM (KANNA) Pharmaceutical Grade
Sceletium tortuosum is indigenous to South Africa where it has been used by hunter-gatherers as a mood-altering substance since prehistoric times. The earliest written records of the use of the plant date back to 1662. Traditionally the prepared dried plant material is chewed, smoked or powdered and inhaled as a snuff. Sceletium elevates mood and decreases anxiety, stress and tension. In intoxicating doses it can cause a euphoria, initially with stimulation and later with sedation. No severe adverse effects have been documented. The active constituents of the plant are alkaloids, including mesembrine, mesembrenone, mesembrenol and tortuosamine. How much? As a mood enhancer, the normal dosage is 50 to 100mg; as a connector, 100 to 200mg. One of the prefered marijuana substitues.
