VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION

K, so started to make a lightbulb vaporizor.So I cut the metal screw part where you screw the bulb into sockets.And I gutted the bulb cleaned it out, nice and fresh.I got a cap that fits perfectly onto the metal screw.Well in the core of the metal screw/neck thing of the bulb theres green spongy stuff.I have no idea what it might be, I think it could be mold and im sure that wouldn't be healthy to inhale.Can anyone tell me what this is or what it does or how to get it out if its unsafe or what I can do?Anything would help, I just don't want this shit in me and die from some stupid chemical.Its safe to say im paranoid about it.Any suggestions would be grateful.

just scrape it all out, if it is really bothereing you that much go buy another lightbulb

just leave it in. as long as your not really heating the green shit its all right. ive been using a lightbulb for awhile and it seems all right. As long as the plastic cap isnt melting from the heat source im sure the green bubble stuff wont either.

yeah there was that green stuff when i made one...its part of the bulb...just leave it

It may just be the adhesive used to secure the bulb to the screw thread contact. The adhesive is made to withstand very high temps, so it shouldn't be too much of a concern.

If you're in doubt, get another clear bulb.

But I do know one thing... it sure as shit isn't mold.

yea, its adhesive, ive burned from my lightbulb vaporizer a few times and im still alive, the only thing to watch for is about on ur third toke, the bulb will look like its melting on teh inside, i think that stuff is safe, just dont let it touch ur bud and u should be fine.
