You can't get student loans if you have a posession charge (usually), but all college apps give you an essay space to explain any blemishes on your record. Spout some "young and stupid" bullshit, take responsibility for it, and act remorseful, and as long it was simple posession, most schools won't really care-- especially Evergreen College, rated the #1 stoner school of 2003 by High Times magazine:

Exactly. I mean.. a *lot* of things can fuck up your life. Unprotected sex, Taco Bell, the girl down the street sellin' you a dream. A *lot* of things *CAN* make you irresponsible. They tend to blame the drug for people's actions, when in reality a truly responsible person wouldn't have gotten themselves in the predicament in the first place. It's all up to the individual.

Well I do go to a military college so they are a little more strict here then most places. We can't even have guys in our on campus apartments after a certain time!

haha i got caught by my mom smoking in my room with a few friends the nite before i left for college, and the next day all her and my dad had to say was dont get caught smoking at college lol.

some colleges care if you have marijauna offenses on your record but i know alot of stoners here that have been caught before by police, skool admins, etc., but were still accepted.

as for being caught in college, they dont really care unless your in your room or something stupid like that. im friends with a soph (im a freshman) who got caught smoking behind the dumpster of the soph dorms and he and his friend both got out of it...
