As I was replying to the other post I decided to check back on this thread and its a good thing I did.

I don't try and cram a vegetable down everyone's throat, but when people make ridiculous claims such as "vegetarianism is stupid because animals still get killed" then I have to argue my case. These animals appreciate classical music, experience pain and all the emotions we do (most mammals share basic emotion) yet they are treated worse than holocaust victims.
