hey, my friends brother recenetly got a club card...this seems a bit lucky because hes a huge stoner but it almost seems like he didnt have to try too hard. apparently he had some kind of knee problem..but i was wondering if anyone knew what you actually have to have wrong wiht you to get a card or a perscription or something. thanks

I know a handful of ppl who have a license they are A BITCH to get The whole process from asking for an application to having the license in your hand gonna takes months and might go over a year. Theres diff licenses too, each different one gives you different 'rights' for example - Licen.#213 allows you to buy max of one oz per week and have up to 10 mature plants (and some # of seedlings i forgot), certain others vary from 1/4 ounce max. to 2 ounces, I think thats as high as you can get. Pun intended

sweet...but what about like getting caught or pulled over wiht an 0z and u have a card, can the cops do anything to you?

That is one of those questions with no definite answer If you are in an area close to a Can.Club the chances of them giving you trouble are slim but if your in an area where its a 'point of focus' for the cops then regardless of the license they are likely to find a reason to confiscate it and hold you for a day.

California made it medically accepted and it is surprisingly easy to get weed with the license but no matter what the counties who legalize have to say the federal law still holds it fully illegal. The feds CAN arrest you and go after you, but they rarely do, all this beauracratical(sp?) bullshit bah I hate it.

In californina if you're pulled over by a CHP and have under 6 ounces, they will not confinscate your stuff if you carry a card.

Bringing it in your carry-on baggage on an airplane is a different story. No matter how much.

If you get caught in SanBerndino they will confiscate even if you have a license, I was riding with one of my homies who has his license and we got pulled over (i had nothing on me nor do i have a license) he searched us because there was a "drug dealers scale" on my console, which was actually just a electronic address book but he had to have some excuse so he used that one but anyways he found 3 grams on my buddy which was even in the bag from CC along with his license -- he gave us the party-line speech about pot "which causes thousands of teen driving accidents every year" then took the weed giving us a so called warning. he gave me a fix-it-ticket for not having a rear-view mirror (it got yanked off by accident)

I know it is unlikely to get into trouble if your licensed in cali but it can happen.
