K SO i planted my germinated seed like 12 days ago and it only has about 4 sets of one fingered leaves. They are all about an inch long. Then it has a WHOLE BUNCH of little tiny leaves coming from the middle. I know thats what it's supposed to do. But the thing is, I look at some documentarys on here and on day 20 or so they are already like 5 inches tall or so. Mines about an inch and a half maybe 2 on day 12. I Want it big. I have a little tiny grow room its in right now. I kinda think they dont have enough light or something. I check the water 3 times a day and water them 3 times a day he soil gets crumbly fast. I got a little PC fan blowing on them. the lights are 2 36 W Curly Fluoro lights. I ony have liek 2 sq ft of room so it seems reasonable. SHould I get more light? SHould I put standard light bulbs in there for red spectrum or what? I'm just nervous about it. It's growing slow. I dont know hwo I could possibly get pics because I dont have a digi cam. But I'll try I guess.

Are you counting from the time you stuck the tomatoe seeds in the ground or from the time they sprouted? What strain..? how close do you have the lights? Also your plants could double in a day.. (you would be amazed how fast they grow when they are that young, maybe not double, but you should notice some growth) Be patient.. I dont think you want a reg bulb (too much heat, wrong sprectrum, just bad light) stick with the flors and try to get them as close as possible.. Look at my thread in INDOOR grow, I have pics of mine at different stages.. Just be patient.. Good luck... Provide us with more info on your grow...

mine is about a month or so into growing from the day it sprouted and its only about 7 or 8 inches some are just small i guess

The lights are really close, not to close, but just right. The Strain is I HAVE NO IDEA. The time im counting is the time form when it sproutd out of the soil. I mean, it's growing. thatsfor sure. It's just slow I guess. I really think I should get soem more fluorescents in there. ONe more 36 Watt oughtta do the trick. I water them well. PLUS they are in miracle grow. I know you guys hate it, but my friend gew soem bomb ass tomatoes with it and it worked well. It is kinda bark-o-ful. But it's not bad.

I don't know how to get pics. But it really seems to be doing prety well.
