Open the bag wide open, or spread the weed out flat and put it in a cupboard with the door open about an inch.

Depends on how wet it is. A few hours to a day depending how wet...Sounds like more than 3 hours

    drying out weed?

well it seems to be doing ok right now, i have it on a black plate with a little lamp shinning on it, the smaller peices have already dried up nice, the bigger buds are still moist. I will prob have to leave those over night where you told me too...but there not really that bad, just moist...

    drying out weed?

It takes time for it to fully ripen (About 2 months from date of harvest). It's potency is being greatly sacrificed. Fast drying will make it harsh and without the time to properly cure it you will be getting big chlorophyl hits and a headache. The chlorophyl degrades and the the THC is gaining its potency with time. They may look nice but would actually smoke better after 45 days of being jarred up, after a 2 week slow dry in a cool place with less than 50% humidity.

when curin and dryin, it should b left in a dark place, light kills the thc when dryin.
it should b kept in a warm dark place 2 help the thc mature as it dry,s.
shinin a light on it is degradin the quality of the thc every second u have it in light.
    peace

    drying out weed?

yeh, it wont be a nice smoke now(well compared to how it could of been if it had been dryed/cured properly) your best bet is putting it on a radiator, maybe on the black plate aswell if it warms up, a lamp can do it pretty quick aswell, but ive heard that makes it even worse..
