How did you tell your parents you smoke/how did they find out and how did they react?

one time my brother was smokin outta his bong in his room. thing is my dad was just in the middle of putting an socket in the wall and he was just taking a break...so my dad came up right in the middle of one of my brothers hits. my dad was furious. he confiscated the bong and then 2 months later my brother and i were down at my uncles place (my dad spends most of the summer there) and we found the bong sitting on the work bench in the basement, so me and my bro and my uncle and my dad all go out behind the barn (they have like 54857295 horses) and smoke a bowl. good time. horses were staring us down

So he confiscated it...then 2 months after he smokes with you???
