How did you tell your parents you smoke/how did they find out and how did they react?

I am probably not going to give two shits if my kid smokes, as long as (s)he is:

1. 17 years of age or older.

2. A smart kid like I was about it.

3. Does it to relax and enjoy life, instead of as medication, etc.

4. Doesn't do it and drive.

That's pretty much it. That's all I ask.

Good, but my age limit is 14. Highschool is when I started, so that's when my kid starts. I don't plan on having kids though so...

Anyways I went to my friends house at 6pm to smoke out of his awesome bong. We did that for awhile and I got really high. So at 11pm I stumble home, and when I get to my porch I look to my right and see my mom which freaked the hell out of me. Then I just walked upstairs put a blanket around my head and sprayed Axe in my room.

My mom then came up to my room and sat behind me, and kept trying to make conversation. I wanted her to just leave but she wouldn't. She doesn't talk for about 30 seconds and I forget she is there. Then he sniffs loudly at my head which trips me out again. She says "Have you been smoking tonight?"

I replied with the classic, "Smoking what?"

She asks me how long I've been doing it and I lie and say 1 month. Then she asks me stupid questions like how I smoke it, how much I smoke, how many people were there, etc. I say I was joking and I've been smoking for 2 years (which is another lie, I've been at it for 4) and for the rest of the day she sarcasticly calls me stoner. She even went to the store to buy me munchies

Now I'm trying to get her to smoke with me but she won't.

Oh yeah. I openly told my mom that I smoke weed, and she got all pissed at me but hasn't said a word of it since. Then, 4 hours after I tell her, my dad has me smoke with him. He hadn't talked to my mom, either. Crazy, huh?

um yea i told my mom i smoke weed on occasion at concerts (cough cough bullshit) but if my dad knew he would flip shit... He is a D.A.R.E. officer so idk what he would do.

my old lady nos i toke she dont care, but i duno bout my son, sure id love to have a toke wif him but not until hes old enough and mature enough to handle it, unlike most of the kids on this site

lol....I'm originally from the Czech Republic and my mom had me really young and doesn't really care about what I do as long as I'm responsible- or basically do what she wants. I was able to drink back in middle school:-X but yeah she has no idea I smoke pot- or that I smoke at all (cuz i don't smoke cigs). I come home high and raiding the kitchen and she still has no clue, haha.

My dad smokes and my mom used to smoke. They werenâ??t really shy about it. I used to remember seeing my dadâ??s bong all the time when I was younger, but he started hiding it once I got older. Really didnâ??t talk about it much other than the occasional serious chat about whatever, but not in a negative way really.

I didnâ??t start smoking at home until after I turned 18. I knew my mom bought weed for my dad so I asked her if she wanted to combine purchases so that we could get a better price and she went for it, lol. Itâ??s cool because sometimes when I canâ??t get anything from my regular hooks, I can have my mom get a sack for me. How cool is that? Funny Iâ??ve still never really talked to my dad about it though and he doesnâ??t even know that I sometimes get weed from my mom. Meh, I figure heâ??ll talk about it whenever he is ready. I donâ??t really make any effort to hide the fact that I smoke anymore (beyond closing my door and stuff).
