wheeeeee i love my strat! plays really nice, sounds great, all original pieces, havent replaced anything. of course, if you're lookin for a high end instument, your lookin in the wrong place. it is what it is, and thats a beginner to intermediate instrument, im starting to think i want an upgrade I'm more of an SG person, anyways.

I've been playing for nine years through an Ibanez to a Strat', and several acoustic guitars - steel and nylon. Ibanez/Crate amps. I play anything from folk to death metal depending on my mood. Lately though - as someone said above - I've been playing a lot of my own music. My best comes out with the acoustic; writing complex, mellow pieces. Playing thousands of power chords in drop d got kind of old. Bass is also a refreshing once-in-awhile thing for me, although I've never had one myself. Both great instruments. Pichacho, my dad had a nice SG. Personally I've always wanted a sunburst Gibson Les Paul though.. with a Marshall half stack haha. Never got around to buying one, though. Maybe one day.

i'veb een playing for 8 years this christmas. i still have my baby, an all black gibson epiphone, and i stole my mom's squire, thats plae yellow and white. my friend's uncle described the music we play as a mix between goo goo dolls, hootie and the blowfish, and metallica. my friend loves thrash, and i'll play whatever comes to me. i would say it sounds more like softer RHCP songs like soul to squueze and under the bridge.
