if you have a slide and bowl for a bong and dont have a chamber you can make a hole in almost any glass bottle, you can only make one hole because if you go to try and make a second the bottle will shatter.

anyway so first you wrap it in duct tape and then use and exacto knife to cut a circle of the duct tape off where your stem will go, then get an awl(pointy screw driver type thing) and bash the hell out of the circle then the glass will start to chip and weaken and eventually u will break through and then carefully chip the hole to size

the duct tape keeps the bottle from spider cracking from the pressure. then just carefully take the duct tape off and wash the bottle really good so theres no little broken glass shards in it and continue to make your bong (hot glue works good as a sealent but it cant be close to the bowl or it will melt and fuck up

ive made tons of bongs this way but i used headshop bought bowls and downtubes, never made a multi-person glass jug hookah so i cant help ya

HELP WITH HOME MADE HOOKAH<----- k we bought a glass jug kinda thing and we have 3 tubes and everything else we just want to know how to drill a hole through the glass for the tubes without making the glas shatter. The glass is about half a centimeter thick. DO YOU THINK IT WILL SHATTER THE WHOLE THING IF WE TRY AND DRILL THREE HOLES? AND WAHT CAN WE DO TO MAKE IT A LESS CHANCE OF SHATTERING????? k well after the first one shattered we went out and bought another one. its about a centimeter thick. then we went to home hardware and got a glass drill bit it was about 10$. We drill slowly and kept spraying WD40 over the spot and we have to perfect holes for the hoses right now and i just gotta finish off the 3rd hole it was so much easier using the glass drill bit.
