Here is my take on this whole thing....

Number one, yes, I have to have had some kind of malavolent effect on these forums. The word buttseks, pen0r, dicks, butts, and other such words have increased exponentially. In addition, the spammage has increased, although it is quality spam. (mostly)

Does this happen in other forums? Yes!

The forum i use mostly is mostly spam.... ytmnd forums

however, it is a fun and funny place. I seem to have brought a little character from there with me, and i apologise for that

One thing, though.... the nature of the spam and such is quite benevolent and acceptable. On ytmnd it is ofttimes racist, stupid, and offensive. So DONT visit if you are easily offended by things like "brb SS", and "lol im a pedophile" it is a place for people who do NOT take anything serious on teh interwebs.
