i have one of those torch lighters. when i try to light it, a flame only appears for about a second and then it goes out and is just spraying butane. i have tried filling it up multiple times. what do you think is the problem?

the problem is get a new lighter, yours sucks

You might need to bleed a little air out, and try turning it down a little.

bics are fine and dandy unless you are planning to smoke some salvia

I use only torch lighters when I'm outside, or smoking my crack I hate trying to use a bic and smoke a bowl on a windy day. Butanes I like because there is no flame, thus, no blowing out. Stupid bics...

The liquid butane will start to spray back from the nozzle.

It doesn't take much to completely refill most lighters, so don't get butane happy.
