Need advice on how to harvest plant?

I just cut a little bit of my plant and it is drying out right now...i heard i should put it under a fan and spray it with water once a day to make it stay fresh, is this true. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What?? Whoever told you that has no idea what theyre talking about. What you need to do is just have airflow in the area of the drying bud, not actually pointing on the bud.

And if you want to dry it sparying it with water wouldnt make any sense at all. You should also hang the bud or buds from a string or shirt hanger, so air can flow around it.

Moisture Is your enemy when your drying..(it will create Mould).

All you need is a cool Dark DRY place to hang them..
    circulating air also helps...
