Cannabis and Creativity

All true; But has anyone got any idea what exactly releases that creativity? I don't mean like chemicals or whatever, more about the actual mindstate or thinking. Is it that we lose some kind of inhibition or reality-filter?

Does it make you think you've done something great when it's really terrible or does it inspire you to do impressive stuff you couldn't have done otherwise? In my own experience it's a mix of both, one thing I have noticed is I can become concentrated to the point that I can think about the little details and how they affect the big picture.
