I started flowering my plant around that size and it worked. Just make sure the stem is strong enough or have some support like a stick or something. By the way it looks really nice I think I'll start to put mine out during the day to good idea man!!
HillbillyG Reviewed by HillbillyG on . ~ 3 weeks in! First off I want to thank all of those who have given me some advice here on the message boards. I had 4 plants but I overfed them and 2 had to go into the trash  What I have been doing is giving the 2 plants left outdoor sunlight for about 7-8 hours and then bringing them in at night and putting the CF on them for the rest of the time. And since I have been doing that the plants have really seemed to flourish. The plants are about 3 weeks in (a little more) and I thought I would put Rating: 5

LOL thats my low N grow formula...it doesnt burn lol. Did you see caddy shack? So I did a nice cleanup? First time grower here. I am just trying to follow instructions. By the waymy next crop is WAY ahead of schedule! They are growing 2x as fast as this group. They might get too big for my growing area...as far as smell. What should I do? Prune them train them or dump them?

I am charging my batteries up right now so Ill put up the pics tomorrow when they are happy in the sun. Yes I have smell issues! I live in an apartment complex. My neighbor that is next to me (that also shares the porch area) is doing construction on the home and wont be done until Sept October so I should be good until then. I am just worrried how strong the odor really is. As of now they have no smell what so ever (only if you hold it close to your noes). But I can only imagine how much it smells when it starts flowering. I guess I am just paranoid.

i don't know what to tell you about the smell. i know i've never really had any issues with smell. i grew in the house when i lived with my mom once and she never smelled anything. looking forward to seeing the pics. for the time being here's a more recent pic of the plant i posted before. the first pic was taken on the 11th this one was the 17th. i'll post a new one tomorrow. i've topped them since this pic was taken and they've gotten much bigger. it's about time to transplant my babies.
