Ello, need advice abt when to harvest

Would appreciate any advice on whether you think i can start to dry my plant, the pics are all of the same plant. It's my first one and been growing it out on my balcony since July and can't wait to get it dry, try it out and have a few spliffs. What would be the best way to dry it? Shall i hang the whole plant by the roots in a closet or would it be best to dry it outside, i have alot of sun on my balcony in the mornings. Any suggestions would help. Thanks

mmm lookin very nice id pick them bout now how long they been growng, tip for next time clip more shade leafs off the plant will have to put more effort in to making buds, wish i could try sum of that enjoy,

Not in the sun...dry it in the dark and hang it upside down(whole plant)Then after it's dry enough put it in the jars (air tight)for the cure.

What smokey bob said is bs dont trim any shade leaves it looks beautiful. Trimming them will only make it flower slower because of stress. possibly turn it hermi, or make it lack in nutrients. Shade leaves store the extra nutes from the plant to save for dark periods or periods of no nutes. Like a squirrel storing nuts for winter, whats she gonna eat when shes cold and hungry and its dark outside. Nothing shell turn yellow and wilt (well a plant at least, dunno bout the squirrel) haha nutes/nuts lol im lit

sittin stoney, cheers for the input, i wasnt sayn chop evry single shade leaf off, jus saying if u give it a trim then the plant has less to feed so it can produce more bud plus by trimming more light can get thru to ur buds so therefore they mature a bit better, and sorry flower girl they do look awesome eh no offence

Hi , thanks alot for all the info.. btw my plant has been growing since june so it's about 4 months now, think will start the drying process soon, but the buds on the bottom of the plant are not as big as the ones on the top , i guess thats normal right?

it kind of closes in abit toward the bottom and is alot bushier towards the top....

dats normal just the light hitting the top of the plant more so bigger buds and bcos of lots of shade leaves the light doesnt get thru to the buds down below as well, but wat wuld i no right

you dont want to hang it IN THE SUN
u want to have a cool dry place,
and slower the better,cure it out nice ,(two weeks or so)
fast drying will make it harsh,and have less potency

slow is the way to go
and depending on the strian, its near time to harvest
but u want to do so before ,or just after first frost.
when it gets too cold it will make it weaker in potentcy (so it seems to me)

if possible
harvest under a full moon .
