A lot of things that happened down there are being covered up. Dead bodies in the Dome were being dismembered and abused by some unidentified person(s). Babies died from dehydration, an eight year old girl, seperated from her family was raped, sodimized and left in a mens bathroom (amidst the overflowing toilets). The Bush regime will do anything to cover up the worst that happened there. Including banning all photos of the dead. I don't believe the media is the only one to blame here.
