so why does my plant just smell like...

like grass... like my lawn...

shes 6 weeks into flowering and is doing well overall... hasnt
really ever smelled skunky anytime from veg... but outside of
wiping my finger across the main stem which does smell
a little bit... theres no smell outside of what you smell after
mowing the lawn...

also... stupid question, but. at what point does bud look like
bud that you would get and not spiky hairs...

i can take some pics... ive gotten a little paranoid, so i havent
been advertising as much on the interweb lately... i guess since
there is actual bud growing now im slowly becoming more aware
of the questionable legality of my operation...

at any rate... my girlfriend took her [the] digital camera to the
grand canyon, but i still have a [my] crummy 3.2 that i could snap
some pics once she wakes up later... its not like i could take a clear
picture with a 7 mp camera and a tripod anyways...

fact is i have meant to do this already, but i can only do it when shes
awake and usually then im doing [watching] something [movies] else.

anyways... you guys are gonna laugh your asses off at me anyways...
the plant is so tall i have it bent all six ways to sideways and my
whole 150 watts of HPS is targetted at the top 2 feet of the plant...
the rest of it is pretty sad and thin... i plan to harvest the top first
and then maybe target the light toward the bottom of the plant for
an extra week or so and see if i can get some improvment in the
lower region...

whats more fuct up than that is i have 8... thats 8... more babies
[5 clones, 3 seeds] already outgrowing their starter cabinet waiting
for their mom to hurry up and flower...

i plan [hope] to invest a little $$$ into my operation shortly and get
a 400 watt HPS system with one of those digital ballasts??? that saves
electricity... but thats like 5 bills that i could put toward a washer and
dryer [yeah... right...]

anyways... if anyone is interested ill get some pics up soon and ask
more stupid questions and tell you interesting [pointless] facts about
my grow...

ryskater... thanks for the tip... this is weird new territory for me...
finally i am somewhat successful... finally...

im sure i could still kill it though... when i was bending her i actually
snapped the stalk... but only like 90% of the way... i sort of rigged up
a sling and she healed herself in like a week...

amazing these plants are... i just hope i dont mess up the the
harvest and post harvest steps and end up with an ounce of
freshly cut/dried/cured lawn...

Yes it indeedly does. My first plants were just like yours. I was like WTF where's the smell. Since they never actually got to harvest I never got the full effect, but at random times that I came home into my room and I felt it was slightly more humid than normal I could smell the sweet danky aroma of my babies pleasuring themselves. God I miss those days.
