    Austin City Limits rocked!

This is just for those who are interested, Austin City Limits Festival was awesome! I went yesterday (sunday) and it was amazing. It was just an entire park, which was just empty, dead grass land, filled with people, stages, food, shops, and art. I saw Jason Mraz, The Decemberists, M83, Wilco, Tortoise, Coldplay, and a few in between. The event was well organized, plenty of water,no shade but everyone managed. The only difficulty was the dust and dirt that by 2:00 filled the entire horizon. I wore a bandana around my mouth, and so did many others. All you could see was this brown fog that kept fillign everyones lungs.
For me this was as close to Woodstock as im going to get, until kerrville fest during the summer.(3 week event, camping out there, awesome.) Acl was completly worth the money, i was just tripping out dancing to all the music, tortoise was my great dancing/tripping out performance. I had more than a few narcotics, but sober would have been a ball too. Sorry to those who either dont know what it is, or didnt make it, because it was one of the greatest experience ive ever been through!
P.S. when i find some AA batteries, ill post up some pics

    Austin City Limits rocked!

sounds like a great time with some great bands! seems similar to this 2-day music festival i went to this spring called the Coachella Valley Music Festival out here in southern California. http://www.coachella.com/ got to see bands like weezer, wilco, keane, snow patrol, bloc party, nine inch nails, the prodigy, the chemical brothers, the arcade fire........ it was so fun! 2 days out in the sun, camping overnight and everything.
