my set up need help

idont have my digi cammra illpost pics later but i have a liek 500 wat construsten hps i think it is about 6 inches away from cups with soem good soil and i have slear plastic rap over the cupsand i taped a bunch of cds together for soem realy good reflecting i just putthe seeds in cups after germanitingwillthis set up be good thro outthe hole set up its my first grow

or it might be uv its bright as fuck and makes heatcaus its warm under teh light

5 INCHES IS TO CLOSE FOR SEEDS. move the light to .. lets say.... 4 feet from you seeds... SHIT, turn the light off.. start the seeds with a small fluorescent or in a window .... When you do introduce the 500 watt light to the plants start about 4 feet away and move it 6 inches closer every day for 6-7 days..

ya but i thioughtteh more light the higher thc levalsi have it under a 3 regular lamp and i added some phosohorus
