Erased? Where you get that from? It's well known for the military to over glamourize a situation for their own glory. Big name football jock...Hmmmmmmmm.....killed by friendly fire OR died a hero??? No brainer for the corp.

I find the former to be the most convenient and the latter to be the most likely.

You watched that movie "Eraser" didn't ya?

A person like Pat Tillman wouldve been an anti-war force larger than even Cindy Sheehan could imagine. All it would have taken, was a Concientious Objector application, and not even Karl Rove wouldve been able to spin away on that one.

"Throughout the controversy, the Tillman family has been reluctant to cause a media stir. Mary noted that Pat shunned publicity, refusing all public comment when he enlisted and asking the Army to reject all media requests for interviews while he was in service. Patā??s widow, Marie, and his brother Kevin have not become publicly involved in the case, and they declined to comment for this article. "
Sorry Nick, he didn't want to be a Cindy!!

A decorated American hero with a master's degree and an outstanding football record...yeh right, karl. yeh fucking right.

i suppose, psycho and amsterdam will be along soon to discredit your arguement...
The guy is a hero. I agree 100% with the family and it doesn't really matter if it were friendly fire or not...he's still a hero!

He may not have liked Iraq but it was his job and he did it! Just like all the rest of us working stiffs. The only thing is, he died for his job...by the way the article read, at least he was in the country of his choice.....or "cause" of his choice is maybe a better way to put it.

So ya found some weed huh....smoke on bro!!!
